Back in 2011, the Majorette factory in Thailand was almost entirely wiped out by a huge flood, which left not just the factory, but the entire northern suburbs of Bangkok, under two metres of water. So the company employed a Chinese factory to manufacture a series of models that would provide a stopgap until the Thai factory got back up and running. The eight models became known as the Loyal Bright Series.
Simplified versions of some models of the 200 series were also produced at this time. Without suspensions or moving parts, black windows and lighter decoration, these Post Flood 200 Series models have also enabled Majorette to ensure the sustainability of its sales.
